It's showtime... for you local folk. We'll be playing this Monday, the 28th. That will be at Teddy B's, in San Mateo...2128 S El Camino Real San Mateo. We'll hit the stage around 9 or 9:30, so even you lame working people (like us) can go to the show and still get home to sleep. So get yer asses there. Screaming guitars. Roaring Metal. No dogs or children allowed.
Dec 28, 2007 - the last update of this year. (I think). We're back from the tour of Greece... I'll be writing that up soon from my cluttered notes, but in the meantime, here's the photos that I took. Also look in to the new bulletin board... the old one was destroyed, and is gone forever. You'll need to register again for the new board, I couldn't get the info from the old one for your accounts.
But: Photos of Greece, from my viewpoint... including many photos of the other bands who helped us out.
Feb 19, 2006 - Hm, somehow the wrong file got replaced, and I never noticed... the corrupt bulletin board was running again. I've repaired the problem, and you can now login and leave messages on the clean one.
November 14, 2006
The new bulletin board is up and running. (but empty)
November 7, 2006
Updates in the works. We're redoing the forums.... the old one is so damaged, I can't fix it, or despam it. (can't access it in administrative mode, so I can't cripple the spammers.) However, I have sent hellhounds out to make their life.... hell. So vengeance is ours.
The new board should be up in a day or two, I just have to flesh it out. The old one will remain as an archive, but please don't post to it.... it's just for reference.
The bad part: Everyone will have to sign up for accounts again, and we start bare. I've been trying to find a way to import the good part, without the bad, but I just don't have the time to frustrate myself further. So it's a total wipe in progress.
Some of you guys often wonder what I'm up to, other than music: Well, it's usually photography. Not bands, like you might suspect, though I do that sometimes too. And I maintain (sometimes) an online journal, that is updated a whole lot more often than this. So if you want to go look, here you are:
CELLADOR (Metal Blade Records)
BROCAS HELM
EMBERS OF EUPHORIA
Wed July 26 9pm $6
Elbo Room 647 Valencia
Hmmm... Somehow I mislaid a year's worth of updates here. This is just weird. So everything below this line, is old. 2005 old. Until I can find the original file and repair it, that's the way it is.

April 3, 2005
Journal Continues, finally. Page three. Some stuff may begin to be out of order, or duplicate stuff from the prior pages. I hope not; but I'm not checking that closely. Page one, the No Sleep tour.
Normally, I'd run some kind of April Fool's joke here, but I'm still too tired to be creative - we're back, alive, relatively intact, and things are mostly under control here at home. I'm still writing on the journal (it's large); but have the photos up and ready for viewing, in order of the countries we visited.
I tried to get shots of all the bands, but in a few instances we were pre-empted by interviews or other obstacles (in the case of London, arrived about an hour before we went on, so I missed the first two acts entirely). Textual coverage of the tour will begin this weekend, and continue until it's done.

1/7/04 Site is undergoing construction. Most of the Defender Lyrics are now up, on the lyrics page. (see new menu above).
10/25/04 THIEVES AND RIPOFFS. An important message: We've run across a site that is selling mp3's of our album. The site claims that the bands are being paid for this.
It ain't so. We have NO contract with anyone. The only official mp3 is on this site; Defender.
While we are not Metallica, and won't sue our fans for this stuff; making money off of our sweat is a different thing.
Fortunately, there are pretty much no laws that cover the supernatural. Heh heh. Pity them.
But most importantly, we want you to know that we are receiving no cash from them - the site looks legitimate, and you might think that the bands are actually being paid; but it's all a front. Aside from that, they're charging you to download it.... so who gets the money? Some more of those bastards that know nothing of metal, that ruin music for us all - because all they want is their dollar. Don't let them have it.
And if they're wise, they'll contact us BEFORE the curse kicks in....
10/14/04 Ok, the newest news. It looks like we'll be touring in the 2nd half of January - hopefully Ireland, England, Germany, and Greece. How's that sound? Other news, the long awaited Into Battle re-release; ready to rock, awaiting funding - Defender of the Crown, on vinyl? Who wants one? We're currently negotiating on this.
And, finally, we have Jowita Kaminska's BH at HOA photos online. These are mighty fine. BH at HOA by Jowita Kominska
You can see her other stuff at http://www.jowita-art.com
8/10/04 Most of you know that I'm a photographer - and in the old days, I shot a lot of bands in the SF area. Lately I've gotten several requests, so I'm going to start putting up some galleries of the San Francisco Metal Years. The first set is the local all girl acts from that time. SF Metal Girls
7/30/04 New stuff: Page 5 is up, working on page six. Our next show, the 17th, in SF at the Cat Club. I also added 2 more pages of the arsenal.
Part one of the BH/HOA excursion is now up - anything doesn't work, let me know; I'll fix it. Except page 5. I know all about it. It's not done yet.
I'll do it when I feel like it.
Probably soon.
But not right now.
And if your face is in any of the photos, and you don't want it there, tell me. I'll remove it. (the photo, not your face. Well, probably just the photo.)
July 15, 04 Ok, we're back. Give me a day or two, and I'll put up the photos and story of the trip.
June 6, 04
Somehow I missed War Toons in the list - fixed that. Later tonight, you may be able to download one of the new songs here - as long as no technical problems arise.
Ok, the big announcement: Defender of the Crown was sent to the pressing plant today.
We hope to have it in our hands on the 4th of July.
And then we will sell them. As many as you want. And I know several of you have been waiting (years) but this time, it's really, completely done. Here's the tracks (we didn't have time to add The Fallen Hero/Return to Battle ; I know I told some of you before it would be there. Well, it ain't.)
Cry of the Banshee
Defender of the Crown
Skullfucker
Drink and Drive
Blood Machine
Preludious
Ghost Story (Man, I listened to this on the way home, this is a monster mix.)
Helms Deep
Juggernaut
Time of the Dark
Never Kissed Goodbye
War Toons
Persian Gulf
Children of the Nova Dawn (The very first song ever written by BH, finally recorded.)
Drink the Blood of the Priest
So, when can you get one? If nothing goes wrong, you can get them from us at the HOA. If you can't make it, we'll have them here after we
return, around the middle of July.

Here's another video - I got rid of the distortion on this one, but the audio is pretty low - guess I'll have to plug some hardware between the recorder next time, to boost the clear signal. It's also mono, sorry. This is Night Siege, also from KIT.
So let's try something new - how about a live video clip? This first one is kinda large, 38 megs, so pass it on to your slower bandwith friends. If there's any interest in this stuff, I'll try rotating the clips once in a while, and work on getting them smaller. I also have to tell you that the audio is a bit distorted on this first test, working on that too. But, if you've got the time, and a fast connection, check it out.
I should also point out, although my version of Windows Media Player will not run this file, all my other video players will.....
