Hey, look at this. Our brothers in Greece have released vinyl. Dream Weaver and Battleroar have both sent me 7"'s. (Where's the Raging Storm?) This is must have stuff for you metal collectors.... I'm not too good at describing music, it's kind of like watching sports, or racing - I'd rather do it than watch. But the Battleroar is definitely old school style, NWOBHM/Epic Metal with a good sound, while the Dream Weaver is a bit more of a modern, more progressive and intricate style... hm, I guess you could say this: for Dream Weaver, stand in your room, in the center of your speakers, crank it up and let the music spin off the top of your head. For the Battleroar, crank up the car stereo and slam your head against the dashboard.

battledream.jpg - 35437 Bytes More photos here: Swordbrothers bhtshirtfbs.jpg - 83717 Bytes Yeehaw! the Tshirts are here. Well, some of them. They're about half gone already. So for you, I've got some larges, a few mediums, maybe one small. All the XL are gone. The price? $15 in America, we pay the postage. $18 overseas, we pay postage. Now ain't that a deal. But look, it's like this: we don't have that many. So get them now, or regret it later. Email me first, and I'll hold one for you. But don't even ask for XL. Or XXL. No hope.

And even more news today! The Black Death picture disc test pressings are back; can the real thing be far behind? Nope. We won't be selling them directly from the site; but I'll let you know where you can find them. As soon as I know.

I repaired the Cosplay section today - will update it soon. Also, just before we went to Greece, I promised someone an interview when we came back; but I lost your address. Mail me again.

The sound files still aren't working; can't get the quality/space ratio working yet. But soon.

We're trying to plan for Europe this summer, probably Germany, England, and of course Greece. Anyone interested in helping out or getting involved, recommending places to play, etc., let us know. I can't believe Bang Your Head is booked up a year in advance.

The Tshirts are finally in the mail to us; as soon as they arrive; I will put up photos and information on how you can acquire one. They'll go pretty damn fast; about half are pre-sold.

Yes, we're working on new stuff - new titles include Cry of the Banshee, Defender of the Crown, The Fallen Hero.

Ok, I fixed the email address; so now the mail will really get to me. Don't know how long ago that happened; so don't think I was ignoring you.....

December 10, 2001. Athens Photos are up! And Tshirts (yes, yes, by popular and constant demand) are coming soon; official Athens concert shirts!

We're back! And it was a hugely successful show; have a look. Some of the pictures won't be up for a few days yet. The trip was only marred by Air France's mishandling/manhandling/rifling and theft of items from my luggage. My bass case looks like someone stabbed it with a knife. We will be playing a local show this January, I'll fill in the details soon.

HUGE NEWS! Finally, we're heading overseas. A lot of you have been waiting for this, here's the official announcement. We will be playing in Greece on the 25th of November, with Dream Weaver, Raging Storm, and Battleroar. Oh, by the way, apparently I forgot to tell you that the Blood Machine/Skullfucker is on blood red vinyl. Heh heh heh. Hot hot hot

January 18, 2001

Yeeehawww!!
7" Blood Machine/Skullfucker is here!

I can hardly believe it. It's in my hand. You can't imagine what a long, hard road it's been just to get this thing out. I won't go into a gruesome list, but just the last part... when they arrived, the labels were on the wrong sides. Skullfucker was on the Blood Machine side, etc. It's also etched into the master that way, so you will see Blood Machine scratched into the side that is really Skullfucker. So, they were sent back, and re-labeled (after a furious phone battle with the manufacturer)((or so Bob says))(((see, I'm giving you credit))) and by some miracle, UPS didn't lose them (they were just slow this time.)((I won't begin to go into my war with UPS, or Pacific Bell. *don't get Pacific Bell DSL. 10 months now and it's still not working. *)

So, you want one of these, eh? Here's how you do it. Just send an email (link at bottom) and we'll send you the details.

As some of you know, the tour didn't quite come off last summer. However, we're still gunning for this year. Thanks to everyone that wrote us with help, suggestions and support, and keep it coming.

Brocas Helm is planning to tour Europe this Summer. Anyone who can help out with booking and quality equipment please contact us. Dates considered in July and August. Anyone want to open? Got a Marshall stack?

New releases upcoming - the re-issue of Into Battle, the debut album, in a cd format. Very very soon. The new album, title still in flux, (possibly Blood Machine) to follow soon after. Also sometime in between the two, a 7inch single, Blood Machine and Skullfucker.
